Over the past decade he has worked with Wineries and Restaurants across Italy, France, Portugal, California, Australia, British Columbia and Ontario.
Along the path he’s been honored with:
- Best wine taster of Italy 2017.
- 2nd Place CAPS Cup in Ontario 2023
- Several medals at the Decanter Wine Awards 2021.
- Selection by the Ontario Legislative Assembly 2022.
Currently residing in Toronto, Gianluca continues to travel wherever exceptional wines are crafted.
Gianluca is since 2023 member of the VQA tasting panel, the wine Appellation Authority used to determine if a wine meets the required standard for the appellation status.

Born in Italy, Gianluca set out on a journey early in life, departing to chase his passion for wine around the world.
His approach to winemaking focuses on minimal intervention, respect of tradition and simplicity of the science.
Gianluca’s aim is to produce wines that epitomize varietal and territorial typicity, finesse, freshness, elegance, vibrancy, longevity, harmony and overall balance, without compromising sustainability along the path.

This elegant Chardonnay hails from a prime vineyard on the east-facing slopes of Twenty Mile Bench, where shallow clay and limestone soils produce wines of exceptional grace, complexity, and longevity. Each grape is hand-harvested at dawn, carefully handled to preserve purity, and gently pressed to capture the natural freshness of Clone 95 Chardonnay from Burgundy.
